New York's legal cannabis market has exploded since recreational sales launched, and NYC dispensaries now carry dozens of top cannabis brands. But which ones are actually worth your money? We've compiled a guide to the best cannabis brands available at licensed NYC dispensaries in 2026 — every brand on this list is sold at Quality Control Dispensary's Brooklyn and Staten Island locations.
Top Flower Brands
Preferred Gardens
One of New York's standout craft cultivators. Preferred Gardens is known for hand-trimmed, small-batch flower with rich terpene profiles. Their strains regularly test above 25% THC with terp percentages that match. Available at QCD in both eighths and quarters. If you're looking for top-shelf flower in NYC, Preferred Gardens is a consistent pick.
Cookies
Berner's global brand needs no introduction. Cookies brings its signature genetics to the NYC market — expect strains like Gary Payton, Cereal Milk, and Collins Ave with the flavor profiles and bag appeal the brand is famous for. Available at both QCD locations.
Top Vape Brands
STIIIZY
STIIIZY dominates the NYC vape market for good reason. Their live resin pods and 510 carts deliver clean, potent hits with strain-specific terpenes. The STIIIZY battery system is sleek, reliable, and has become the go-to for regular vapers. Their disposables are also popular for convenience. Consistently our best-selling vape brand at QCD.
Select
Select's Elite and Cliq cartridges offer premium distillate with natural cannabis-derived terpenes. Known for consistency batch to batch — you know what you're getting every time. Their Cliq pods pair with a magnetic battery system for easy, leak-free use.
Top Edible Brands
Camino by Kiva
Camino gummies are the gold standard for cannabis edibles in NYC. Precisely dosed at 5mg or 10mg per piece, they come in flavor profiles tied to specific effects — Pineapple Habanero for energy, Wild Berry for relaxation. Consistent dosing means no guesswork.
Grön
Grön chocolates and gummies bring a craft confectionery approach to cannabis edibles. Their dark chocolate bars and fruit pearls are popular with customers who want precise dosing in a premium format.
Top Pre-Roll Brands
Jeeter
Jeeter has become synonymous with quality pre-rolls. Their infused joints — coated in liquid diamonds and rolled in kief — deliver potency that flower alone can't match. Jeeter Juice disposable vapes are also customer favorites. Available at both QCD locations.
Top Concentrate Brands
MFNY (Made for New York)
MFNY specializes in premium live rosin and solventless concentrates. Their hash rosin is some of the cleanest, most flavorful concentrate on the NYC market. If you're into dabbing, MFNY is the brand serious concentrate enthusiasts reach for.
