Types of Events at QCD
Brand Takeovers & Pop-Ups
We regularly invite our brand partners to set up shop at our stores for in-person pop-up events. Brand representatives bring samples to smell and examine (not consume on-site), exclusive merchandise, and special event-day pricing on their products. These pop-ups are the best way to learn about a brand directly from the people who create the products and to take advantage of limited-time discounts. Past pop-ups have featured brands like Preferred Gardens, Stiiizy, Cookies, and Jeeter.
New Product Drop Events
When highly anticipated products hit our shelves, we make it an event. New strain launches, limited-edition collaborations, and seasonal products get featured placement and our budtenders provide guided walkthroughs of what's new and why it's worth trying. Follow us on Instagram to get notified about upcoming drops before they sell out.
Community Events
We believe in giving back to the neighborhoods that support us. QCD participates in local community events, charity drives, and neighborhood festivals throughout the year. These events connect us with the broader Brooklyn and Staten Island communities beyond just cannabis.
Educational Sessions
Cannabis can be complicated, especially for newer consumers. We periodically host in-store educational sessions covering topics like understanding terpenes, choosing the right product format, dosing guidance for edibles, and navigating New York's cannabis regulations. These sessions are informal, free, and open to anyone 21 or older.
