New York's legal recreational cannabis market is here, and Quality Control Dispensary is one of the city's premier licensed adult-use dispensaries. With two locations in Brooklyn and Staten Island, we make it easy to find a recreational dispensary near you — no medical card, no appointment, no hassle. Just bring your valid 21+ government-issued ID and walk in.
What Is a Recreational Dispensary?
A recreational dispensary — also called an adult-use dispensary — sells cannabis products to any adult 21 or older. Unlike medical dispensaries that require a doctor's recommendation and a state-issued medical card, recreational dispensaries are open to everyone of legal age. New York legalized recreational cannabis under the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA), and Quality Control Dispensary holds a retail license from the New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM).
Why Choose a Licensed Recreational Dispensary
Hundreds of unlicensed smoke shops and illegal storefronts still operate across NYC, selling untested products with no quality guarantees. At a licensed recreational dispensary like QCD, every product is lab-tested for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants. Our labels are accurate, our sourcing is transparent, and your purchase supports New York's legal cannabis economy — not the illicit market.
