On a normal weekday Eltingville is where South Shore commuters catch express buses to Manhattan from the Eltingville Transit Center. Thanksgiving week reverses the flow, as everyone heads home. Green Wednesday is on November 25, the day before the holiday, and Eltingville is served by Quality Control Dispensary's one Staten Island shop, up on Victory Boulevard. Green Wednesday deals have not been set yet and will be announced in November. Meanwhile, the store runs daily deals, and Eltingville is in our Staten Island delivery area.
Express Buses, the SIR and the Drive North
Eltingville's transit is built for getting to Manhattan, not across the island, so reaching Victory Boulevard is mostly a driving job. Richmond Avenue reaches its southern end near Hylan Boulevard on this side of the island and runs north to Victory Boulevard, which makes it the obvious route; turn east at Victory toward the store. The Korean War Veterans Parkway, connecting to the West Shore Expressway, is the faster-moving alternative when Richmond Avenue is crowded with holiday shoppers. The Eltingville SIR station and the express buses at the Transit Center are great for a Manhattan job and less useful for this errand. Delivery reaches Eltingville addresses, and the person accepting must be 21 or older with ID. In-store and pickup hours on Wednesday run 9am to 10pm. On Staten Island, listed menu prices exclude tax, and the total at checkout reflects it.

Green Wednesday 2026 Deals Are Coming
We haven’t announced our Green Wednesday deals yet. They go live on this page closer to November 25. Both stores run deals every day, so you can start saving now.
Amboy Road and a Commuter Suburb at Home
Eltingville takes its name from the Eltinge family, who farmed here in the nineteenth century, and it grew quickly into a suburb once the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge opened. Most homes date from the 1960s through the 1980s: detached and semi-attached houses with driveways and small lawns on quiet blocks. Amboy Road runs through the middle of the neighborhood with delis, bakeries and pizzerias, while Richmond Avenue and Hylan Boulevard carry the larger shopping plazas. Arden Heights Woods, a protected forest, lies to the west. Because so many residents commute, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is often the first day off, and the neighborhood shifts into hosting mode, with driveways filling up and Amboy Road shops crowded by afternoon.
Timing a Thanksgiving Eve Order
If you work Wednesday, set the order up before you leave. Browse the QCD Staten Island menu, place the order online, and choose a delivery window for when you will be home in Eltingville, or swing by the Victory Blvd store for pickup if you are already out. For hosting, the usual sensible rules apply: keep products apart from the meal, mark anything infused, offer it only to adults 21 and up who want it, and point first-timers toward a low dose. Have a plan for guests who do not partake, too, since that is most Thanksgiving tables. Green Wednesday pricing is set in November; the deals running on Staten Island now are a good preview of the menu.
