Gravesend is one of the six original towns of Kings County, laid out in the 1640s, and its blocks between Kings Highway and Avenue U still feel settled and residential. The closest QCD location is our Brooklyn store at 3169 Coney Island Ave, south and east of most of the neighborhood. Green Wednesday this year is Wednesday, November 25. QCD's specials for that day come out in November; for now, the store runs rotating daily deals. Here is a Gravesend specific guide to ordering and to planning a Thanksgiving week that fits the household.
Getting Your Order From Gravesend
Gravesend has good rail options. The F runs along McDonald Avenue with stops at Kings Highway, Avenue U, Avenue X, and Neptune Avenue, while the N runs the Sea Beach line through the western side. From Neptune Avenue on the F, the store is a straight shot east along Neptune. By car, Kings Highway or Avenue U will carry you across to Coney Island Avenue, then south, or use Ocean Parkway. Parking near Coney Island Avenue fills up in the evening, so pickup at a quieter hour helps. Wednesday hours run 8am to 11pm. Delivery covers Gravesend too, though it is worth plugging your address into the delivery page first. Ordering ahead and collecting at the counter is the other route. Brooklyn prices include tax, and staff will check that your ID shows you are 21 or older.

Green Wednesday 2026 Deals Are Coming
We haven’t announced our Green Wednesday deals yet. They go live on this page closer to November 25. Both stores run deals every day, so you can start saving now.
Old Town Gravesend at Thanksgiving
The original village square, laid out by Lady Deborah Moody's settlers, can still be traced around Gravesend Neck Road and McDonald Avenue, and the old Gravesend Cemetery sits right there. The neighborhood today is home to a large Syrian Jewish community concentrated near Ocean Parkway, longtime Italian American families, and Russian, Chinese, and Pakistani households. L&B Spumoni Gardens sits at the western edge on 86th Street, a Brooklyn institution for square pizza. Thanksgiving week in Gravesend tends to be about family dinners in row houses and two family homes, with relatives arriving by car rather than train.
Making a Plan for a Full House
With multiple generations often under one roof, a little planning goes a long way. Keep purchases in their original packaging, put them somewhere locked or high, and do not leave edibles near holiday sweets. Any adult guest who is curious should get a small amount and some patience; edibles can take a while to kick in. A pre-roll pack or low dose gummies make a simple host gift for friends 21 and older who already enjoy cannabis. Look at the QCD Brooklyn menu and daily Brooklyn deals ahead of time, then order early on the 25th before the evening crowd.
About Gravesend
Gravesend covers the stretch of south Brooklyn between Bensonhurst, Midwood, and Coney Island, crossed by Ocean Parkway, Kings Highway, and McDonald Avenue. It was chartered in 1645 to Lady Deborah Moody, one of the few colonial settlements founded by a woman. Today it is mostly two family homes, small apartment buildings, and commercial strips along Avenue U and Kings Highway. See our Gravesend page for more.
Responsible Use: Cannabis affects everyone differently. Start with a low dose and increase gradually. Must be 21+ to purchase. Quality Control Dispensary products are NYS-licensed and lab-tested.
