If you live in Midwood, getting to QCD is about as simple as it gets: Coney Island Avenue runs straight south from your neighborhood to our Brooklyn store at number 3169. Green Wednesday is November 25, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. QCD announces those specials in November, and for now the store posts deals every day. This page walks through the routes that make sense from Avenue J and Avenue M, how delivery works for Midwood ZIPs, and some ideas for planning around a busy holiday week.
Heading South on Coney Island Avenue
Coney Island Avenue cuts right through western Midwood, so drivers can simply head south until they reach the store near Neptune Avenue. The B68 bus follows the same road. On the train, the B and Q stop at Avenue H, Avenue J, Avenue M, and Kings Highway, and the Q continues south to Brighton Beach, a short walk from the store. Ocean Parkway is another option for drivers. Hours that Wednesday are 8am to 11pm. Both 11230 and 11210 sit inside the Brooklyn delivery zone, and the delivery page will confirm your street. Prefer to come in? Reserve online and grab it at the counter, or browse in the store. Tax is already built into Brooklyn prices, and staff check every ID for age 21 and up.

Green Wednesday 2026 Deals Are Coming
We haven’t announced our Green Wednesday deals yet. They go live on this page closer to November 25. Both stores run deals every day, so you can start saving now.
Avenue J, Brooklyn College, and the Side Streets
Midwood is anchored by Brooklyn College, whose campus and lawns sit near the Flatbush Junction, and by commercial strips on Avenue J, Avenue M, and Kings Highway. The neighborhood has a large Orthodox Jewish population, a well established Syrian Jewish community along Ocean Parkway, and Pakistani and Bangladeshi families along Coney Island Avenue. The side streets east of Ocean Avenue are known for large Victorian and Tudor style houses. Di Fara on Avenue J has drawn pizza lovers from across the city for decades. Thanksgiving week in Midwood means students heading home and families gathering in the houses on those quiet blocks.
Thinking Ahead for the Holiday
With college schedules and family travel in the mix, Thanksgiving week can feel crowded. Keep it simple: review the Brooklyn menu early, glance at today's deals in Brooklyn, and order ahead before the evening of the 25th. Hosts should keep anything with cannabis in it sealed, labeled, and nowhere near the kids' table. A grown guest who asks to try should take a small dose and give it time. And for the friends who already partake, all of them 21 and up, a few pre-rolls or a low dose edible make a modest host gift.
About Midwood
Midwood sits in the center of Brooklyn, between Flatbush to the north, Gravesend to the west, and Sheepshead Bay and Marine Park to the south and east. It is a residential neighborhood of single family homes, two family houses, and prewar apartment buildings. Brooklyn College, Avenue J, and Kings Highway give it focus. Nearby: Flatbush. More details are on the Midwood page.
Responsible Use: Cannabis affects everyone differently. Start with a low dose and increase gradually. Must be 21+ to purchase. Quality Control Dispensary products are NYS-licensed and lab-tested.
