Marine Park is a driving neighborhood, with driveways, quiet blocks, and the park itself spreading toward Jamaica Bay. For Green Wednesday, set for Wednesday, November 25, the closest QCD is west past Sheepshead Bay at 3169 Coney Island Ave. The Green Wednesday specials will be announced in November, and until then the store has daily deals. Below we cover the routes Marine Park residents actually use, how delivery works for ZIP 11234, and how to plan around a house full of family.
The Drive West Along Avenue U
Marine Park has no subway station of its own, so most people drive. Avenue U is the main local route: head west to Coney Island Avenue and turn south toward the store. From the southern blocks the Belt Parkway can be faster (use the Coney Island Avenue exit), though Thanksgiving eve traffic can slow things down. By bus, the B3 runs along Avenue U and connects with Coney Island Avenue, where the B68 heads south. Parking near the store is tighter than in Marine Park, so a quick pickup is the easiest move. Wednesday hours are 8am to 11pm. Delivery reaches ZIP 11234, and the delivery page will tell you if your block is covered. You can also shop in person or order ahead for pickup. Brooklyn store prices have tax folded in, and nobody under 21 is served, so bring ID.

Green Wednesday 2026 Deals Are Coming
We haven’t announced our Green Wednesday deals yet. They go live on this page closer to November 25. Both stores run deals every day, so you can start saving now.
The Park, the Marsh, and the Brick Houses
The neighborhood takes its name from Marine Park, the largest park in Brooklyn, with ball fields and a running track on one side and the salt marshes of Gerritsen Creek on the other. The Salt Marsh Nature Center sits along the creek, and the Marine Park golf course lies across Flatbush Avenue. Residential blocks are lined with brick houses and attached homes, many owned by families who have been here for decades, many with Irish and Italian roots, along with a growing number of Russian speaking, Caribbean, and Orthodox Jewish households. Thanksgiving here leans toward big dinners at home, with cars lining both sides of the street by late afternoon.
Planning for Out of Town Relatives
When relatives fly in or drive down for Thanksgiving, a little organization helps. Keep any cannabis products sealed and stored somewhere children cannot reach. An adult guest who wants to try cannabis should go with a small serving and let it settle before considering another, and make sure nobody who has consumed gets behind the wheel. For neighbors or friends 21 and over, a tin of low dose gummies or a couple of pre-rolls works as a host gift. Look over the Brooklyn menu and daily deals in Brooklyn a few days before the 25th and order ahead so pickup is fast.
About Marine Park
Marine Park is a residential neighborhood in southeast Brooklyn bordered by Sheepshead Bay, Midwood, Flatlands, Mill Basin, and Gerritsen Beach. It is defined by its namesake park, which takes up a large share of the area and includes salt marsh along Gerritsen Creek. Avenue U and Flatbush Avenue are the main commercial streets. Neighbors include Sheepshead Bay. More on the Marine Park page.
Responsible Use: Cannabis affects everyone differently. Start with a low dose and increase gradually. Must be 21+ to purchase. Quality Control Dispensary products are NYS-licensed and lab-tested.
