Prospect Heights has one big advantage when it comes to reaching Quality Control Dispensary's Brooklyn store: the Q. From 7th Avenue at Flatbush or from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center, it runs directly to Brighton Beach. That matters for November 25, which is Green Wednesday, the industry's nickname for the eve of Thanksgiving. QCD's Green Wednesday deals are not out yet and will be announced in November. If you're 21 or older and live near Vanderbilt Avenue, reserving online and picking up is the way to go.
One Train From Vanderbilt to Brighton Beach
Pickup is the dependable choice here, since 11238 sits beyond the Brooklyn delivery ZIPs QCD publishes. You can still look up your address on the delivery page to see if coverage applies. Order ahead on the Brooklyn menu, then ride the Q south from 7th Avenue or Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to Brighton Beach and walk over to Coney Island Avenue; the B also runs on weekdays. The 2 and 3 at Grand Army Plaza and Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum connect with the Q at Atlantic Avenue. If you drive, go around Prospect Park to the Prospect Expressway, which feeds into Ocean Parkway heading south. The Brooklyn location is open 8am to 11pm on Wednesday, November 25, with tax already in the price you see.

Green Wednesday 2026 Deals Are Coming
We haven’t announced our Green Wednesday deals yet. They go live on this page closer to November 25. Both stores run deals every day, so you can start saving now.
Museums, Brownstones and Grand Army Plaza
Prospect Heights is small but packed with institutions. The Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden face Eastern Parkway, the Central Library of the Brooklyn Public Library stands on Grand Army Plaza, and Barclays Center sits at the northern corner. Between them are blocks of 19th century brownstones, a long restaurant row on Vanderbilt Avenue. Grand Army Plaza, with its arch and fountain, is the entry to Prospect Park. Over Thanksgiving week, visitors in town for the holiday tend to find their way to the museum steps or the park, and plenty of apartments host a Friendsgiving.
Small Apartments, Mixed Guest Lists
Hosting in a Prospect Heights apartment usually means a mixed crowd in a tight space, so think ahead about what makes sense. Look through the Brooklyn store's menu early in the week and compare with Brooklyn deals running now, since the Green Wednesday offers have not been published. For friends 21 and over who rarely use cannabis, low-dose edibles or a shared pre-roll at home are more considerate than strong concentrates; tell them to wait before having more. Keep products sealed, labeled and away from any children visiting for the holiday. Taking the Q to pick up in the late morning or early afternoon on the 25th keeps you ahead of the evening crowd heading out of Manhattan.
About Prospect Heights
Prospect Heights is a compact neighborhood bounded roughly by Flatbush Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, Washington Avenue and Eastern Parkway. Its brownstone blocks and older apartment buildings sit between some of Brooklyn's largest cultural landmarks, and Vanderbilt Avenue has become one of the borough's busiest dining strips. The 2, 3, B and Q trains all serve its edges. Find more on our Prospect Heights page.
Responsible Use: Cannabis affects everyone differently. Start with a low dose and increase gradually. Must be 21+ to purchase. Quality Control Dispensary products are NYS-licensed and lab-tested.
