Annadale is said to be named for Anna Seguine, from one of the old South Shore landowning families, and it still has more woods and ponds than most of the island. On November 25, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, cannabis shoppers across New York mark Green Wednesday. For Annadale, Quality Control Dispensary offers delivery, order-ahead pickup and walk-in service through its 1172 Victory Blvd store. QCD announces its Green Wednesday deals in November; until then, the store's daily deals are posted for anyone who wants to plan early.
From Annadale Road to the Victory Blvd Store
Annadale sits at the southern end of the Korean War Veterans Parkway, and that parkway is usually the quickest way out of the neighborhood by car. Take it north to the West Shore Expressway, then the Staten Island Expressway, and use local streets up to Victory Boulevard. Richmond Avenue is the slower but simpler alternative. Annadale's SIR station serves commuters heading to St. George and the ferry, though it does not bring you close to the store. For most Annadale households, delivery is the practical choice, and the Victory Blvd store does deliver here; just have ID showing you are 21 or older when it arrives. Wednesday hours are 9am to 10pm for walk-ins and pickups. Staten Island menu prices are posted before tax, and you will see the tax added as the final step of checkout.

Green Wednesday 2026 Deals Are Coming
We haven’t announced our Green Wednesday deals yet. They go live on this page closer to November 25. Both stores run deals every day, so you can start saving now.
Kettle Ponds, Herons and Quiet Blocks
Blue Heron Park is the center of Annadale's identity. The preserve covers more than two hundred acres of woods, wetlands and kettle ponds left behind by the last glacier, and its nature center on Poillon Avenue makes it a year-round stop for birders and families. Around the park, Annadale is residential and leafy, with single-family homes on generous lots, many built between the 1950s and 1990s. Annadale Road and Arden Avenue run through the neighborhood, and Hylan Boulevard on its eastern side holds the shops. Thanksgiving week here is about houses filling with family rather than nights out, and the park trails are a good place to clear your head on Friday morning before the leftovers come out.
Small Doses for a Big Family Table
Annadale tables tend to run large at Thanksgiving, and they usually include a range of ages and opinions. If you plan to enjoy cannabis over the holiday, keep it in its packaging and away from the meal, and store it where younger relatives will not find it. Share it only with guests 21 and over who are interested. For someone who rarely partakes, a single low-dose gummy is a better starting point than a strong pre-roll, and waiting a while before taking more is wise. If you know a host who enjoys cannabis, a sealed product from the Staten Island QCD menu is a thoughtful gift. Place your order a day or two early to avoid the Wednesday rush, and check current Staten Island specials until the November announcement.
About Annadale
Annadale is a quiet South Shore neighborhood between Eltingville and Huguenot, best known for Blue Heron Park and its kettle ponds, wetlands and wooded trails. Its streets are lined with single-family homes on larger lots, and the Annadale station keeps it on the Staten Island Railway. Hylan Boulevard runs along the eastern side, and the Korean War Veterans Parkway ends nearby. Learn more on our Annadale page or see Green Wednesday in Huguenot next door.
Responsible Use: Cannabis affects everyone differently. Start with a low dose and increase gradually. Must be 21+ to purchase. Quality Control Dispensary products are NYS-licensed and lab-tested.
